A £1 million purchase event in London
The richest poker competition ever held is about to take place in London. The Triton Million Helping Hand for Charity is a flagship event of the Triton Poker Super High Roller series and will take place at the London Hilton Grand Ballroom in Park Lane from Aug. 1-3. The competition features charitable donations of £1,000,000 and £50,000 - the highest amount in poker history.
The £1 million Triton Million is also set to create one of the biggest prize pools in history as well as one of the biggest prize pools in the world. Anyone who becomes a champion can earn more money than any other tournament in the world in a single tournament.
The Triton Poker Super High Roller series, sponsored live on Party Poker, will give Londoners a unique opportunity to watch some of the world's best poker players work against entertainment players who have the greatest real interests in the world. Huge names, including millions of billionaire businessmen and top poker professionals who rarely see them compete in the U.K., have already confirmed that they will take part. They include Triton ambassador Tom Dewan and Jason Kuhn, David Peters, Louis Chao, and Bryn Kenny. Of them, only these five have received more than £100 million in poker prize money combined, and more top professionals are set to join them.
Running from July 31 to Aug. 8, the Triton Super High Roller series has a unique "invitation-only" formula: the only way to secure participation is to be invited directly by Triton poker or to be a guest nominated by the invitee. Most of Triton's invitees are businessmen and women, who share two things in common: they love poker and are heavily funded. This invitee can invite one guest to participate in the series, and the official "Plus One" will most likely include the world's best poker player.
Among the recreational players who have already accepted invitations to play are Hong Kong investor Stanley Choi, Dusk Tilldon founder Rob Yong, 1978 WSOP Main Event champion Bobby Baldwin, Malaysian Richard Yong and Triton co-founder Paul Poi, as well as U.S. entrepreneur Rick Salomon.
Triton Ambassador Jason Kuhn said, "I've already participated in several Triton Poker High Roller series all over the world and I can tell you for sure they are the most exciting poker matches I've ever played. I like to bet against tough competitions, but no one checks the boxes like Triton. Triton Millions in London will not only raise millions of dollars for worthy causes, but also take the series to a whole new level. There have never been poker matches of this size before, and every player will be a part of poker history. I'm very excited about it! London is one of the most historically rich and beautiful cities in the world. So it's very fitting that this history-making event takes place here in the heart of the city." 파워볼사이트
