Commencement

2026

Ability. Diligence. Triumph.

During their time at Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University, our students have been fueled by dedication and commitment, driven to be the best listeners, caregivers, advocates, researchers, partners, conservationists, problem solvers, and veterinarians.

With compassion and empathy, they have come to understand that real, true success only occurs when you engage and support those around you. And that joyful feeling of accomplishment is meant to be shared.

Growth, both personal and professional, happens through perseverance. Those willing to adapt their thinking and be flexible in their approach can evolve and improve the world around them.

As we celebrate the Class of 2026, we know that individually and together, they exemplify commitment, empathy, and perseverance, readying them to heal animals, help humans, and change lives.

Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine will mark its 44th Commencement Sunday, May 17, 2026.
