What is GoGlobal?
GoGlobal is a mobile app designed to help people gain cultural knowledge about any particular country they are interested in learning about. This is accomplished by the apps two main features. The first feature is the cultural learning feature which provides a curated selection of media and essential information regarding the culture of the users country of interest. The second feature is the global community feature where users can socialize and form connections with like-minded locals and experienced travelers worldwide who can share and give a more authentic and deeper insight on the culture of the countries they are from or have visited.
Why is this Important?
GoGlobal and its features that I stated in the previous slide, are very important because it allows for a multitude of opportunities. Whether it be a source of information for users educational or work related needs, personal interests and curiosity or perhaps to help travelers become more culturally aware of the countries they plan on traveling to, not only to make their travel experiences more immersive and authentic but also so that they can be respectful to locals and prepared for certain cultural differences.
