Middle and High School Students Enjoy First Incentive Trip of the Year

Otselic Valley’s middle and high school students recently celebrated their hard work and positive choices with the first Incentive Field Trip of the school year -- a Viking Feast Picnic at Dorchester Park.

Students spent the afternoon outdoors enjoying lunch, games, and time with friends. The trip marked the launch of Otselic Valley’s new School-Wide Incentive Program, designed to encourage engagement, accountability, and school pride throughout the year.

Previously, incentive trips were held only at the end of the school year, but this new approach provides more frequent opportunities to celebrate success and community spirit.

The day at Dorchester Park offered beautiful weather, laughter, and a well-earned break -- a perfect start to this year’s series of incentive activities that highlight what it means to be part of the Viking community.
