Assabet's Alumni Artists

"I am an Assabet alumni and a current rising senior at Massachusetts College of Art and Design! I have learned so much these past few years and I have loved every moment of being able to take on a new skill. I have been able to improve on my digital illustrations, sense of composition and confidence in different mediums! I have been studying illustration with a minor in sculpture and there has never been a dull moment in the curriculum! With my senior year coming now, I am currently considering what to do for my thesis, and overall career options. Fingers crossed! "Luiza Michele Landrau, a talented 21-year-old on the autism spectrum, is a unique individual who expresses herself through art. Her artwork serves as a means of communication that goes beyond traditional methods. Using various mediums like oil, watercolors, pencils and digital imagery, she conveys her thoughts, emotions and perspectives in a unique manner. Inspired by her surroundings and emotions, she enjoys connecting with others while finding solace in observing nature and animals."
