Podge Lane is an Irish alt-country artist, celebrated for his vividly honest lyricism blended with experimental country leanings. Brandishing a broad catalog of raw concept records and energetic live albums, Podge embraces his country and folk stylings, with a uniquely droll and vulnerable edge.

At the age of 28, Podge Lane has amassed a catalogue of music that is as vast and well travelled as the man himself; with four studio records to date, his debut album, Outer Monologues (2021), sophomore album Common Country Misconceptions (2023), concept rock album Multiple Dead Ends (2024), and latest venture, the sonic postcard Less Of Me (2025), along with his live album recorded in London’s iconic Green Note, How You Make Noise When Nobody’s Watching (2024).

Podge is a dynamic live artist having performed various sold-out solo tours across Ireland and the UK, featuring as a showcase artist with Ireland’s inaugural ‘You Roots Are Showing' conference, and playing alongside high profile acts such as Charlie Parr, Vieux Farka Touré, The Wedding Present, Rachael Sage, Florence Dore, Steve'N'Seagulls, Crywank, The Riptide Movement, Damsel, The Brother Brothers, Cat Clyde and Annika Kilkenny.

Since his move to the US in early 2025, Podge set out on his Gecko Tour and has performed over 120 shows travelling throughout the American South to New York. With performances at iconic folk venues such as Pete's Candy Store, The Bitter End, Irish Haven and Big City Folk. What grew on this journey was Podge's latest record Less Of Me capturing his journey throughout America, reflecting back and moving forward. With his guitar on his back and treading new ground, Podge has more stories to tell that will draw you in and keep you hanging onto every word!
