Target Audience

Generally, anybody who goes shopping is a potential customer for Receemail and general audiences, anyone who goes shopping, is Receemail’s target user base.

Marketing Strategy

Marketing would take place across many platforms that corralate with smartphones would be key since the app is a digital service and platform that is situated on mobile devices.

Primarily marketing the app through social media would help directly bolster the reach of Receemail as a service to many potential customers of the brand. Videos displayed on social media and YouTube videos would be the preferred avenue of advertising the application, as those services are extremely popular and thus would help drive the most traffic directly to the app’s download page.

In addition to utilizing various social media platforms, merchandising the Receemail brand could be an effective form of marketing. The brand has a crisp, fresh air with an appeal in minimalism and angular design. Adapting it to merchandising such as hats, shirt and canvas bags could help spread the brand into the public consciousness as more users discover the service. Merch would be accessable via a link in-app to the online Receemail store.

Having Receemail as a main option on the receipt selection screen at both local businesses and major retailers would give the service a major platform and outreach to potential users, and would directly benefit existing users. This option would bolster the benefits and ergonomics of the app by providingan option to consumers that gives them a more optimized choice to send the receipt to their Receemail (@receemail.com) inbox.
