Important Laptop Info for the 2024-2025 School year -
- All grades (5-8) will be provided a school-issued Chromebook for their 1:1 device for the 2024-2025 School Year. For more information, visit the website here.

E-Day #1 is coming - Thursday, September 19th!
- This will be an asynchronous day for students. All assignments will be posted on Canvas.
- E-Days are an opportunity for students to learn in a virtual environment, while our teachers and staff are learning how to be better for our students.
- There are four E-Days on the calendar for the 24-25 school year.
**All students participating in "before-school" clubs should enter through Door #4 (bus parking lot). It will open with ample time for your student(s) to make it to their club on time.**

Attention 8th Grade Families!
- Pre-Departure Meeting required for parents and students - Monday, October 7th, from 6-7pm in West Hall.
- Please put this date on your calendar. We will have our pre-departure meeting to review our travel itinerary, explain expectations, and to meet the chaperone groups face to face. This will also be a good time to coordinate drop off and pick up arrangements for Indianapolis International Airport with other parents.
- The DC trip is scheduled from Wednesday, October 23-Friday, October 25, 2024. More details to come!
Immunizations
- Indiana code (IC 20-34-4-5) states that all children attending public schools in our state shall be immunized according to requirements set forth by the Indiana Department of Health.
- Please ensure that the health clinic professional in your child’s school has been supplied with the most up-to-date copy of your child’s immunization records!

8th Grade Class T-Shirts!
- The 8th grade class has voted on their 2024-2025 8th Grade T-shirt design!
- This order is for 24-25 ZWMS 8th Graders (and staff) ONLY! Let’s celebrate this group’s final year of Middle School!
- T-shirts will be $15. If you can, please consider donating and/or sponsoring a t-shirt for an anonymous student. Our hope is that each of our current 8th grade students will be able to receive a t-shirt. Any overflow funding that is not utilized for purchasing t-shirts will go towards our ZWMS Food Pantry.
- An added bonus - the t-shirts are anticipated to arrive prior to the 8th Grade Washington DC Trip! Students will be able to represent ZWMS while on that trip, as well as throughout the school year!
- 8th grade families can find additional information in the email from Mrs. Freund (afreund@zcs.k12.in.us)! Orders are due by 4:00PM on 09/13!

- We will no longer be selling punch passes, but we will honor those who still have one from previous school years.
