We celebrate the valuable role women play in reshaping and dominating the landscaping industry. Whether breaking barriers in the landscaping or battling cancer, we pay tribute to their resilience, spirit and determination. This year, as a testament to our deep appreciation for the women in our organization and in recognition of the broader fight against breast cancer, we are proud to announce our participation in the 2023 Komen Miami/Ft. Lauderdale More Than Pink Walk.

Pink-out Day
Date: October 18, 2023
Join us in wearing pink, a simple yet powerful gesture to demonstrate unwavering support for breast cancer awareness and research. Let's promote the vital messages of fostering early detection and fundraising. By wearing pink, we unite as a visual symbol of solidarity! Together, we aim to make a meaningful impact in the fight against this disease. Pink buffs have been mailed to each branch for our field level employees to use on the 18th. Designate someone on your team to snap a photo of your entire team, including managers and admins, wearing PINK to Marketing at marketing@juniperlandscaping.com by noon that day. As a reminder, please ensure everyone in the photo is comfortable with it being shared on our communication and social media platforms. (Note, regular Juniper uniforms are required, along with all applicable PPE as safety remains our top priority.)
How can you participate?
Join Our Team
We have sponsored a team - "Mow Down Cancer Crew" and invite employees from across the state of Florida to join us in Hialeah.
- Although employees will need to use their own transportation (at their own expense), those traveling more than 50 miles to the event will be entered in a drawing for a chance to win a gas card. There will be multiple chances to win.
- We will gather as a team at 7am on the day of the event.
Show our Pink Spirit
Members of the "Mow Down Cancer Crew" who make a minimum donation of $5 and participate in the walk will receive a Juniper shirt customized for the event. Act fast as quantities and sizes are limited. Wear pink every Wednesday in the month of October.
Special Offer for Breast Cancer Survivors
To honor the bravery and resilience of breast cancer survivors, we are covering one-night hotel accommodations (on October 13th) for up to 5 breast cancer survivors employed at Juniper at the time of the event. Hotel accommodations will be selected and booked through HR. Contact Sammie Cyr at sammie.cyr@juniperlandscaping.com to redeem this offer.
Support with a donation
Our company goal is to raise $2,500 to further support this cause. Those who do not plan to attend the walk but wish to make a donation to help us reach our goal, visit our Team page and choose a team member to donate to and click “Donate”.
Alternative Participation
If Miami/FT. Lauderdale isn't an option for you, we have also sponsored a team - "Mow Down Cancer Crew" for the "Walk Where You Are" event on October 28th to ensure everyone has an opportunity to participate and show their support.
Get ready for an exciting BRANCH COMPETITION! We're challenging each branch to make a difference by donating to breast cancer awareness before November 15th. The branch that raises the most funds will win a Food Truck for a day and some amazing giveaways. Don't forget to submit your selfies to show your support! Let's make a real impact together.
Our participation in this walk is a powerful representation of our belief in the strength of women, both in our company and in our communities. Join us in championing the fight against breast cancer and painting the town PINK!
