Dawn Chorus Day began with Professor Alice Eldridge's guided walk, reflecting on birdsong, biodiversity and outdoor living as cultural practice.

Nature Unseen

Nature Unseen transformed Fabrica into a multi-sensory experience. Based on Dr Karis Jade Petty's research and co-created with sight-impaired collaborators, it challenged the idea of landscape as purely visual.

Post-Rave Britain Archive Roadshow

Post-Rave Britain brought 90s resistance culture to the Green Door Store. Led by Dr Ben Burbridge, it explored how rave shaped British politics, culture and memory.

Whose streets? Mapping Places, Mapping Protests

At Whose Streets?, researchers and community voices explored Brighton & Hove’s response to the far right. Led by Professor Pollyanna Ruiz, the event mapped protest memories into a powerful visual of local resistance.

Discover Musical Live Coding invited hands-on creativity at Volks. Led by Dr Chris Kiefer, it revealed the power of code in shaping live soundscapes.

Music of the Pan-African Revolution

At Music of the Pan-African Revolution, Nzinga Soundz — one of the UK’s first Black female sound systems — joined Professor Martin Evans for a DJ salon and conversation on music, resistance and solidarity.
