Principal's Message
As Term 3 draws to a close, I want to reflect on the positive energy, commitment and community spirit that have defined the past ten weeks at North Perth Primary School.
This term has been packed with memorable experiences for our students, from incursions and excursions, to the celebrations of Book Week and Science Week, and of course, the impressive performance at the Massed Choir Festival last Tuesday evening. Our Athletics Carnivals were another highlight, as our students’ talents and sportsmanship were on display. Both athletics carnivals were fantastic community events.
A massive thank you to Nadia and Ben and the P&C Exec team for their ongoing support, especially in helping make our carnivals such a success. Your behind the scenes makes a world of difference.
I’d also like to acknowledge Kelly Ekins and our School Board, made up of committed parents and staff who generously give their time to help guide and support our school’s direction. Your leadership and collaboration are valued.
A special shout-out to our Year 6 students and their families for the fantastic Busy Bee effort as part of their graduation gift to the school. The work done to begin revamping the Senior Courtyard is a wonderful legacy that will benefit students for years to come.
Finally, our Footy Colours Day was a day of celebration with a powerful purpose. Thanks to your generous donations, we raised a total of $1,623, which will be doubled by Range Ford Maddington to an incredible $3,246. All going to support children with cancer. What an amazing community effort.
Thank you all for your continued support. Wishing everyone a safe and restful break, and we look forward to seeing you refreshed and ready for Term 4.
