Kah'Lil Jabre Hicks-Jumper is a Senior at Howard University from Decatur, Illinois, by way of Des Moines, Iowa. A Theatre Arts Major with a concentration in Acting at the Chadwick A. Boseman College of Fine Arts, Kah'Lil has distinguished himself through dedicated training and compelling performances.
In 2023 and 2024, Kah'Lil attended the prestigious Stella Adler Art of Acting Summer Conservatory and Film/TV Intensive, further honing his craft. His stage experience includes notable roles such as Canewell in August Wilson's 'Seven Guitars' at Howard University, "BF" in Jiehae Park's 'Peerless' at The Dorothy Betts Marvin Theatre, and "Jamal" in 'Salted Lemonade' at Onley Theatre. He has also performed as an Ensemble member in 'Newsies: The Broadway Musical' at Iowa Central Community College.
With a passionate commitment to storytelling and a disciplined approach to his art, Kah'Lil is honored to be part of Howard University's Bachelor of Fine Arts Program. Upon graduating he will continue to pursue his acting career, while exploring opportunities in theater/film production. Kahlil is seriously considering attending graduate school in the near future.
