The Patriots Defensive Line outplays the Broncos Offensive Line
So far these playoffs the defense is what has sparked the Patriots. The Patriots have recorded 9 sacks this postseason, including 2 Milton Williams sacks, 1 Kyris Tonga sack, and 3 K’Lavon Chassion sacks. Christian Barmore the Patriots Defensive Tackle, the last time he faced Quinn Meinrez Barnore recorded 3 sacks. In the run game, RJ Harvey has one of the worst yards per carry in the league, and the Patriots are top 5 in least rush yards allowed. Everything looks set for the Patriots defense to maul the Broncos offense.
This game will go down to the final seconds
The Rams and the Seahawks have played twice this year, and the Rams have out scored them, and had more total yards then them combined in both games, but only by a yard and a point each. Both teams have a top 10 defense and offense when it comes to yards and points, but L.A has more playoff experience and it’s not even close. L.A has had Darnolds number this year forcing 6 interceptions this year against the Rams. This postseason though Sam Darnold has thrown 0 interceptions, but that will change, because the Rams have gotten 2 interceptions per game this postseason. So far it looks like the Rams have the advantage, but what do the Seahawks have? Jaxson-Smith Njigba. Njigba has averaged 100 yards and a TD against the Rams each time, which has led the league in receiving yards. The Seahawks also have home-field advantage which has helped them in their favor by getting the #1 seed.
Puka Nacua will prove why he’s better than Jaxon-Smith-Njigba
I just talked about how good Njigba has been, but Puka might be better. This year the Seahawks passing defense has allowed less yards then the Rams defense has, and yet still Puka outperforms JSN when the two teams play each other. The last time these two teams faced off, Puka Nacua had 12 catches for 225 yards and 2 TDs. The hard part for the Seahawks is that they can’t focus on Puka always, because Davante Adam’s has also been a top receiver this year, and the Rams have the MVP on their side. That trio is a nightmare for the Seahawks, but the Rams also have Kyren in the run game. The Rams offense, is set to outperform the Seahawks defense, but I think the Seahawks offense will also outperform the Rams defense.
Game Predictions
Patriots 17, Broncos 20 (yes I know Bo Nix is out)
