Special Recognition
The Marietta City Schools Board of Education recognized the Marietta Schools Foundation for sponsoring the new exhibition in the Central Office lobby, celebrating the rich history of Marietta City Schools. With the Foundation’s support, we were able to enlist Kennesaw State University’s Office of Museum, Archives, and Rare Books to assist us in several key initiatives. They conducted oral history interviews, hosted artifact collection days, and provided curatorial, design, and installation support for the Central Office exhibit.
Congratulations to the Marietta Schools Foundation for preserving our history. Thank you to Joe Kinstle, John Clotfelter, and Laura Kraus for receiving this special recognition.
Special Recognition
The Marietta City Schools Board of Education recognized Piedmont Church for offering some of its proceeds from the church’s North Cobb Egg Drop event to all of our 12 schools. This generous donation reflects the church's commitment to supporting education and enhancing the resources available to our students. Additionally, donations from the church have funded another sensory room for Marietta City Schools, specifically at A.L. Burruss Elementary.
Congratulations to Piedmont Church for its outstanding support. Thank you to Ike Reighard, Christina Bridges, and Marlon Longacre for receiving this special recognition.
