St David's Day & World Book Day
World Book Day 7th March 2024
To mark 'World Book Day' we will be opening our "Parent & Carers" Library in our Millenium Garden.
"Book Cwtch"
We all know the importance of reading and we want to promote this with the children by encouraging everyone to enjoy a good read!
All are welcome to use this great initiative. Come and browse and take a book that takes your fancy. Return it when you've finished.
A huge thank you to Mrs Skyner & family (Jack's Grandma) who has worked so hard in creating this wonderful addition to our school.

Tuesday
TUESDAY is PE day for all Juniors - Year 3 to 6 - pupils can come to school in their own PE Kit
- Any Football Kit
- Joggers / Leggings / Shorts and a T-Shirt / Sweatshirt
- Appropriate Trainers
- Bottle of Water
Please make sure pupils are adequately dressed for the weather - sunhats & suncream for hot weather - long sleeved tops and long trousers for cold weather.
Thursday
On Thursdays some of our year groups/classes will experience Football Lessons with The Racecourse Community Foundation (Wrexham AFC). Teachers will identify these groups/classes which will need to come in PE Kit on these Thursdays. Please read above for PE Kit required.

- 1st - School Eisteddfod - ART & HANDWRITING Competitions
- 7th - School will celebrate 'World Book Day' - pupils can come dressed as their favourite book character
- 7th - Launch of "Book Cwtch" our "Parent & Carers" Library in our Millenium Garden
- 8th - Own Clothes Day for Chocolate or Easter Eggs or £1
- 8th - Diocesan Football & Netball Tournament in Rhyl. Pwb lwc Pawb!
- 11th - 'Generation Rock' Assembly - Provider of in-school rock & pop lessons - more information to follow
- 13th @ 6pm - 'Friends' Easter Bingo - Entry by Ticket only - £4 per adult / £2 per child - Limited Numbers (first come first served)
- 14th - Reception to Year 2 "Space Day". To celebrate this topic pupils in these year groups can come dressed in something to do with Space. Are you an Alien? Or an Astronaut? Or a Mad Scientist? Or just a Super Star!
- 15th - Years 3 & 4 visit the 'Explore!' Science Centre in Wrexham
- 15th - Interim Reports go home to Parents
- 18th @ 6pm - Spring Full Governors Meeting
- 19th @ 5pm - Information Evening for Parents / Carers of Year 5 pupils visiting Nant BH
- 20th & 21st - Pupil Progress Evenings - Bookings now open - Please book here.
- 21st - COFFEE MORNING - 9:15am - ALL WELCOME, please come along for a tea or coffee and cake and a chat.
- 22nd - School Closes for Easter Holidays
