Welcome
It's the season the of Lent. For 40 days (plus Sundays), we make our way to the cross of Good Friday and empty grave of Easter. Each Sunday of the season, we'll hear what God's Word says about stones and rocks and how they teach us about Jesus and our need for a Savior.
Today, we'll explore how Jesus is our rock. When the Israelites wandered in the wilderness, water came out of rocks to provide for their needs. Jesus is our rock, providing all we need and strength for life.

Scripture
I don’t want you to forget, dear brothers and sisters, about our ancestors in the wilderness long ago. All of them were guided by a cloud that moved ahead of them, and all of them walked through the sea on dry ground. In the cloud and in the sea, all of them were baptized as followers of Moses. All of them ate the same spiritual food, and all of them drank the same spiritual water. For they drank from the spiritual rock that traveled with them, and that rock was Christ. 1 Corinthians 10:1-4 NLT
Unfailing love and truth have met together. Righteousness and peace have kissed! Truth springs up from the earth, and righteousness smiles down from heaven. Yes, the Lord pours down his blessings. Our land will yield its bountiful harvest. Righteousness goes as a herald before him, preparing the way for his steps. Psalm 18:10-13
