A promising athlete from the Olympic national team was killed in a shooting.
According to foreign media on the 5th, Luke Fleur (24), a defender of the Kaiser Chiefs in the South African first division, was killed in a robbery attack in downtown Johannesburg.
"Fleur was shot while being robbed by a robber at a gas station outside the city on the night of the 3rd," local police announced.
Fleur was waiting in the driver's seat to receive gas when two armed gunmen appeared and pulled Fleur out and immediately opened fire. One of the suspects drove away with Fleur's stolen car. Police have yet to arrest the fugitive.
