In Science this week we looked at different ways to separate mixtures using sieving, filtration, evaporation and magnetism.
We predicted which separation method we needed and then tested them with different mixtures. Great scientific explanations Year 5!
In PSHE we looked at bullying from both points of view - the bully and the person being bullied.
We discussed why a bully may bully people and all the people bullying can affect. We freeze framed our ideas.
In English we completed our letters to Cathal at Newcastle Academy and enjoyed discussing why we enjoyed living in Newcastle. I’m sure you would agree they are amazing!
