988 is a suicide prevention hotline. For this project I was hoping to get a sort of 70-80's vibe to my poster. I also hope that with the vibrant colors it is able to catch the eye of the viewer to either help support the cause or maybe if the viewer is in need of help, they know it's a safe place. I feel that if someone was in need of help then they would be able to get all the information needed to begin getting the help they need.
With this poster project I was hoping to make it look a little bit gloomier to help present the theme that climate change is a big issue. My goal was to get the viewer to see and really think about the true need for change in the world if we want a healthy earth to live in. I feel that the need for change is very detrimental for our ecosystems and so that is why I chose David Attenborough as the main person to show because he also really cares about our ecosystems. I hope this makes you as the viewer also feel a need for change and also support this cause however you can.
Mo Salah is a key player for my favorite soccer club Liverpool. So, for this project I wanted to create a poster to commemorate him and all of his grate achievements for the club. I made of the first things you see be the Never Give Up shirt because it us something that was very important to him and they also came back from 3 goals down in one game to score 4 and if they had just given up they never would have one of the most prestigious trophies on Europe the Champions League.
Kendrik Lamar is one of the most known Hip-hop and rap artists of our time. So, for this project I created a poster that he could use if he was to ever come to Colorado for a Concert. I feel like this poster puts out the image that his music is chill but can also be super hype it just depends on the type of album he's making. I hope this makes you feel some sort of way to start listening to his music or possibly attend a concert of his.
For this project I chose to do one of my top 5 movie characters of all time to create a new poster for the upcoming Kong movie. My main idea was to use the characters that Kong has had to fight along the way. I was hoping for the viewer to get pulled into looking at all of the words describing Kong and his journeys.
For this project we were to all create a sticker for this year's upcoming elections to see if we can win with our design. So, I went with a design that shows that everyone who is able to vote should so they can create a voice for their opinion. I hope this makes the viewer feel like they too can be heard if they actually try to and put in the effort to.
