2D FX ARTIST (HARMONY)
Job Responsibilities
- Design and create the requested style of FX on a sequence of shots within a production schedule
- Design FX that are production-friendly and efficient while maintaining a high artistic standard
- Consistently communicate with various departments for required assets and input
- Use creative problem solving to produce desired FX
- Organize and manage own work and files efficiently
- Review workload and communicate any issues to the Series Directors and Producer
- Meet production deadlines as assigned
Qualifications and Skills
- 3+ years of experience working in FX on a 2D animated series
- Strong proficiency in Toon Boom Harmony
- Demonstrated experience, comprehension and knowledge of classical animation
- Ability to manage additional production tasks and responsibilities when required, while maintaining own production targets
- Effective and professional communication skills
- Demonstrate a strong sense of drawing fundamentals
- Ability to organize, prioritize and follow through in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- A team-work oriented mentality, friendly, positive and professional attitude
- Be pro-active and solution-oriented
