That’s a Wrap!!
Happy Summer!!!
It’s finally here…..SUMMER!!! It has been such a great year and an honor to work with all of the students in the Rogers Band. We look forward to what next year has in store for us. This is the last email 8th graders and all non-returning students will be receiving. We wish everyone a safe summer!!!!!
Attention 6th and 7th Graders - Rogers Back to School Band Camp
Mark your calendars for July 29 – 31 for our Free Rogers Back to School Band Camp, 8:30am – 12:00pm. This will be our first time to get together as the 25-26 Rogers Wildcat Band. We will have a pep-rally the first week of school as Rogers reopens after the construction. We need every student at Camp to learn our music and have some food and fun getting back together. Let us know if you are NOT able to attend by using this form: Rogers Back to School Band Camp absence form – Otherwise, we will see you at the end of July!!
Summer Instruments
Rented Instruments - Flute, Clarinet, Saxophone, Trumpet, Trombone, Percussion
Students continuing in band next year should keep their instruments over the summer to practice. It’s good to play every so often to keep your skills in check. Students not continuing in band next year may return their rented instruments to the music store from which you are renting. We are fortunate that music companies deliver instruments at the beginning of the year, but they prefer to handle returns themselves in store.
School Owned Instruments (oboe, bassoon, tenor/bari saxes horn, euphonium, tuba):
All, school-owned instruments have been picked up. If you have an issue or question, email a band director. Outgoing 8th graders attending high school band will be able to check an instrument out during marching clinics.
