Hesburgh Libraries employees participate in inauguration build

On Wednesday, September 18, 2024, a dozen Hesburgh Libraries faculty and staff members joined volunteers from across the University of Notre Dame as part of a week-long Habitat for Humanity build. A culmination of the events surrounding the inauguration of the University’s 18th president, Rev. Robert A. Dowd, C.S.C., volunteers worked to erect five homes on the 700 block of Harrison Ave. on South Bend’s near northwest side. The homes are expected to be ready in the spring.
