COMMUNITY EVENT TO SPREAD SOME KINDNESS!

For World Kindness Day in Nov 2023, we (Ray and Freya - placement students for the Sussex Centre for Research on Kindness (ROK)) ran a Kindness Exchange event on campus. For Mental Health Awareness Week in May 2024, we took the event to the community, setting up a table at the Brighton Open Market.

We asked passersby to write an anonymous kind message to a stranger, which we then passed along. Close to 100 people wrote messages, helping us share some light, care and positivity to the Brighton community!
