Activity 2: Edit a Safety Video
Open this template and use the tips below (or think of your own!) to create a safety video for bonfire night:
Stay Safe on Bonfire Night!
Hold Sparklers Safely
Always wear gloves, hold sparklers at arm’s length, and never wave them near anyone’s face. When it’s finished, put it in a bucket of water — not on the ground!
Keep Pets Indoors
Fireworks can be very loud for animals. Help your pets by keeping doors and windows closed so they feel calm and cosy.
Stand Back from the Fire
Bonfires are fun to watch, but they get very hot! Keep a safe distance — at least a few big steps back — and never try to poke the fire.
Stay Safe!
Always enjoy fireworks at a public display run by adults — never try to light your own. Leave the big bangs to the experts!
