PRINCIPAL MessagE

Dear parents and carers, What a week — and what an achievement! We are so proud of the way year 6 have handled their SATs. They showed such a positive attitude from start to finish – showing their character and resilience.

This week, my message is directly to year six.

You really lived out our values this week. We saw your determination when things felt tricky, your growing confidence as each day passed, and your drive for achievement in the effort you gave. Most of all, it was wonderful to see your sense of belonging — how you looked out for each other, offered encouragement, and worked as a team. That’s true excellence.

You supported each other, kept going even when you felt unsure, and reminded each other that you’re not in this alone. That’s something really special.

A big thank you as well to all the staff and additional adults who helped make this week feel calm, organised and positive. It’s been a real team effort across the whole Academy.

Now SATs are done, we can enjoy the final chapter of Year 6 — and there is so much to look forward to!  The rain has disappeared for the afternoon and the children can enjoy their end of SATS BBQ with their friends.   It has been a real privilege to watch you grow — not just in your learning, but as people. You’ve grown socially, emotionally, and in confidence, and you should be incredibly proud of yourselves.

Well done, Year 6. Take a moment to smile — you’ve earned it.     Have a wonderful and well-deserved weekend and as always, enjoy your family time together.   Mrs Nicholls

To our amazing Year 6 pupils, A huge well done to each and every one of you for completing your SATs! You have shown determination, resilience, and a fantastic attitude throughout the week, and you should all be incredibly proud of yourselves. These tests do not define who you are — they are just one small part of your journey. What truly matters is the effort you have put in, the progress you have made, and the way you supported one another along the way.  Now it’s time to relax, smile, and enjoy the rest of your final term together. You have all worked so hard and absolutely deserve it. I am very proud of you all! Well done, Year 6! Mrs Hahn
