Relieving Principal's Message
It seems like yesterday that we were welcoming students back for the first day of 2025. Term One has flown by in a flurry of exciting activities, unusual weather events and high-quality learning opportunities.
Thank you to all our parents who have attended school events over the past two weeks. We held our annual Cross Country last Tuesday and it was incredible seeing how much grunt and determination our students have. They gave it their all and didn’t give up. Thank you to Mr Butt for your excellent organisation of such a large event.
On Wednesday we held our much-anticipated Crazy Hat Parade. I was blown away by some of the amazing creations that our families whipped up! The standard gets higher and higher each year. What was even more pleasing was how many of our senior students got involved. We love that they are such active participants of our school on special days like this. Thank you to Mrs Faulks for all her hard work planning this event.
I would like to congratulate our Kindergarten students and their families on a successful first term of their primary schooling journey. It is a huge milestone for all, and we can’t wait to watch you continue to grow and develop.
Have an AMZAING two week break and enjoy the Easter long weekend. I am looking forward to continuing in the Principal role for Term Two and seeing all our students back on Wednesday April 30 2025. Stay safe!

On Tuesday 1st April, we held our annual Cross-Country event where students showcased their athleticism, teamwork, and determination.
The weather was perfect for running, with cool temperatures and clear skies, providing an ideal environment for everyone to do their best. The event was not just about speed, but also about perseverance, with each runner giving their all, whether they were at the front of the pack or finishing strong near the end. Parents, Carers, teachers, and classmates cheered from the side lines, creating an electric atmosphere that motivated the students throughout the race.
Congratulations to all the participants, and a big thank you to the teachers, staff, and volunteers who helped make the event a success! We're already looking forward to next year's race.
Mr Butt - Teacher/Event Organiser
On Wednesday 9 April, we held our highly anticipated Crazy Hat Parade, a fun-filled event where students and staff alike showcased their creativity and fashion sense in a parade like no other.
The excitement began as soon as the bell rang, and students flooded into their classrooms, proudly sporting hats that were anything but ordinary. The creativity was endless!
As the parade started, everyone gathered in the hall where the hats were put on full display. Students walked down the aisle with big smiles, showing off their creations to their friends, staff and families.
The judges had a tough job, picking the winners but everyone agreed that the real winners were the smiles on the faces of all the participants. It wasn’t just about the hats—it was about coming together as a school to celebrate creativity and have a good time.
It was a morning full of laughter, creativity and we can't wait for next year’s Crazy Hat Parade!
Congratulations to our Crazy Hat winners!
