Director's Notes

Go, Go Jo!

I am so grateful for the chance to direct Joseph. We have had so much fun working together as a team, and I am incredibly grateful to everyone who made this production possible.

Talk about dreams! Every show I direct I have a dream of how I want it to be, and somehow it comes true. Joseph is no exception! I am amazed at the talent and dedication, the energy, and passion my students and parents have shown to bring this creative vision to life.

I was pretty sick in bed three weeks ago. We were in the middle of set building and costume making. I hadn't completely finished the blocking and there were dances still left to choreograph. I did what I could from home, but was humbled by the students, past and present, parents and staff that stepped in and helped. Then I broke two bones during our final week of practices. We would not be ready to open without your efforts. Your commitment and dedication have transformed this production into something truly magical.

To my family and our production team families, a heartfelt thank you for sharing your talented people with us and showing us your unwavering support and encouragement.

Thank you to our community members who have also joined us for the production and for sharing your enthusiasm for the MHS Theater Program.

Finally, to our audience- Thank you for coming along with us on this colorful journey. I hope you leave inspired and uplifted and may the music forever be in your heart.

Fritz
