Frequently Asked Questions
What is an Adobe Creative Campus Collaboration event?
We think of it as a twice yearly 'festival of Pedagogical Inspiration' where like minded colleagues come to share, learn, discuss and wrestle with some of the biggest opportunities and challanges we face in teaching and learning.
You can learn more about the event by watching the video below, that captures the essence of our inogural event at Teesside University earlier this year.
Who can attend?
The event has been designed specifically for collegues in institutions either in the UK or Europe who have a role in developing or delivering teaching and learning. This could be as a strategic leader responsible for pedagogy or curriculum design, a member of faculty or a key partner within a teaching support of innovation team - such as digital learning, library services etc.
If you are unsure if the event would be suitable for you please do get in touch with us and we can discuss with you.
What is the cost?
This event is free to attend. You simply need to cover your travel and accommodation costs and then we will take care of you.
I attended the previous event, will the agenda be different?
Yes! - we see these collaboration events as a series and community building. As such the agenda has been designed in collaboration with the community and with Bath Spa to very much compliment our previous event.
What are the two event locations?
November 9, Reception: The Street, Locksbrook Campus, Locksbrook Rd, Bath BA1 3EL
November 10, The Collaboration event: Newton Park campus, Newton Saint Loe, Bath, BA2 9BN.
Can you recommend hotels?
Given the geography of Bath and the locations for the event we recommend that you book hotels in central Bath. The following three being recommended:
- Hampton by Hilton Bath City - Avon St, Bath BA1 1UP
- Travelodge Bath City Centre - 6-10 Westgate Buildings, Bath BA1 1EB
- Premier Inn Bath City Centre hotel - 4 James St W, Bath BA1 2BX
How will I get to the venues?
Adobe will be providing a free shuttle bus to the required locations and to the train stations during the event. We will be in touch to ensure that we have you covered.
Should I do any preperation for the event?
You are not required to do anything before the event. However if you are new to the creative campus collaboration programme and Adobe's work in education we would advise flicking through our 'Success with Adobe' white paper and perhaps play with the new Adobe Express and Adobe Firefly (GenAI) solutions.
