Fourth and fifth graders at Otselic Valley brought legends to life during their very own Cryptid-Con -- a unique and imaginative project that blended research, writing, and art.
Each student selected a legendary cryptid to investigate, from well-known figures like Bigfoot and the Loch Ness Monster to lesser-known mysterious creatures. After diving into the folklore and facts, students wrote detailed reports, created eye-catching artwork, and even designed their own cryptid trading cards.
The result was a fun, engaging showcase of creativity, critical thinking, and storytelling. Cryptid-Con turned the classroom into a world of wonder, where students explored the unknown and shared their discoveries with pride!
