Randall Consolidated News

Continually working to provide consistent and connected communication, the District will be sharing District News 7-9 times per year. Most of the information will come the District Administrator's Office. Additionally, Randall will continue with a weekly SMORE from the Principal's Office as well as, our FACEBOOK and website.

Referendum Update - Closeout

On behalf of the District, we are all very thankful for the support of the community. While the Capital referendum provided some visible updates the majority of the project was to improve our heating, cooling, waterflow, electrical, etc...These spaces aren't as visible, but have helped improve our school community.

Thank you for supporting Randall School!

2024-2025 School Calendar

While we are more than six weeks into the new school year, here is just a reminder of the 2024-2025 school year. This is one of those school years where there is an extended winter/Christmas break. Also a reminder, the District continues to schedule 'almost' monthly professional development to focus on intentional adult learning for purposeful student learning.

Randall SAIL TEAM

For the THIRD year in a row, Randall has participated in AWSA's School Administrators Institute for Transformational Leadership (SAIL). SAIL is a building-level school improvement framework that is designed to empower educators through a clear focus to improve student learning. The Randall Team is made up of classroom teachers, the building principal, and our math instructional coach. Additional Randall staff members may take part at different times throughout the year. The SAIL team has designed a framework to better help our educators provide intentional instruction and continue to help each student better understand the 'why' of their learning. The work is done around short cycles of improvement that impact the work of the principal and every classroom teacher. SAIL is a large piece of bringing Randall's Strategic Plan goals around academics to reality.

Winter Weather

Winter season is just around the corner. Over the past few years when the winter weather turns into a Warning, school has been canceled. This is never an easy decision and never comes down to one factor. As a District, our goal is to communicate as soon as possible and preferably the evening before. This year there have been some changes to language and temperatures which do create different thresholds for a Watch, a Warning, or Advisory.

Safety and Speak Up Speak Out

Please remember that if you or your children see or hear something suspicious to immediately say something to an administrator, a trusted Randall employee, or call the local police department. We are committed to ensuring a safe learning environment for our students. We are fortunate to have great partnerships with you, our parents/guardians, in our district. With threats occurring more often in school districts, it is important that we take a moment to lean on this partnership and ask you to have a conversation with your children regarding the serious implications of making a threat on a school. Such behavior may leave a lasting impact on a child’s education and future. The impact on the entire family is profound. Rather than waiting, we are asking you to personally discuss this issue with your children now. Whether a student perceives making a threat as a joke or not a big deal, making a threat on a school could result in suspension, expulsion, and/or being charged as an adult with a felony. According to State of WI statue 947.015: “Whoever intentionally conveys or causes to be conveyed any threat or false information, knowing such to be false, concerning an attempt or alleged attempt being made or to be made to destroy any property by the means of explosives is guilty of a Class 1 felony.”

We continue to encourage our students and school community to report anything that could constitute a threat to school safety through Speak Up Speak Out (SUSO). As always, we work closely with local law enforcement to assist in these situations. Thank you for taking a moment to have this discussion with your children.
