newborn
Newborn sessions are usually held between 5-14 days of baby's birth. This all depends on the wellness of both baby and mama. Thus, I only need your due date to hold your spot at booking. Please allow 1-3 hours for the session time. Props are all included with custom set designs fit for your preference.
We had newborn photos done and the whole process couldn’t have been easier. Jenny allotted for plenty of time for photos so nothing was rushed. Our son was able to eat and go right back to sleep for more photos. The quality is top notch and we loved them all. Our family photo was amazing with our older children as well. We will definitely be coming back for future photos. I can’t recommend her enough.
"Getting ready for the session sounds so stressful"
I get it.... you've just had a baby. You're tired and probably living on caffeine and a prayer. I have worked on building a partnership with a local hair and makeup artist and can send more information about this if you decide you'd like to be pampered for your session. The hair and makeup artist would come to the studio and get you all glammed up while I'm taking photos of just your baby. When booking, let me know if this is something you are interested in and I can send some more information. If you'd prefer to skip the hair and makeup artist, that's ok! You are more than welcome to bring your own makeup with you and I have a bathroom as well as curling iron available in studio so that you are able to get yourself ready when you arrive if you didn't have a chance to at home.
In home vs. studio
I offer travel for in home newborn sessions for no additional charge in Frederick County, VA and close by. In home vs. studio is completely client preference. In studio will be more of the posed family photos and newborn photos. While I do bring some props for in home, the family photos will be more of a lifestyle setup and the props may be setup using surrounding areas of your home.
maternity
Maternity sessions are usually photographed between 32-36 weeks in term. The option of choosing in-studio session for a "boudoir" or editorial type approach or any of my approved outdoor locations. This sessions may include your significant other and children as well with a session time of 1 hour with 2-3 outfit changes. Studio wardrobe are included and sizes vary.
Don't want to buy a fancy maternity dress you are only going to wear once or twice? No worries! The link below has some optional maternity gowns my clients are welcome to wear during their session.

- Newborn Sessions include option of family and sibling photos for no additional charge. $100 deposit is due to book your due date, which is applied towards whatever you decide to order after the session and you see your photos. Large selection of digitals and product options offered with pricing beginning at $395 for 6 high resolution digital images.
- Maternity Sessions are offered as an add on for $350 when booked with a newborn session and include 30+ high resolution digital images. If booked without a newborn session it is $450.
