'Veteran Guard' Lowry Re-signs Philadelphia for One Year, Challenges to Win with ··Paul George

Veteran point guard Kyle Lowry 38, a free agent in the National Basketball Association NBA, has renewed his one-year contract with his hometown team Philadelphia, where he played last season.

Sports ESPN's Adrian Woznarowski said Tuesday that Lowry signed a one-year contract with the Philadelphia Phillies. Lowry also announced his return to Philadelphia through his social media. Although no specific terms of the contract were announced, the Philadelphia Phillies highly value Lowry and actively engaged in negotiations to stay in the team.

Lowry joined Philadelphia in February and played 23 games, averaging 8.1 points, 3.2 rebounds and 4.2 assists.

As Lowry re-signs with the team, he will be able to challenge for next season's championship with Paul George, who was newly hired in the transfer market this summer, including Joel Embiid and Tyreece Maxey.

Lowry, who made his professional debut by being drafted 24th in the first round by Memphis in 2006, played for Toronto for nine seasons from the 2012-13 season and became the NBA's top player in 2019. He was named an All-Star for six consecutive seasons from 2015 to 2020. He is ranked first in assists, triple-doubles, steals, and 3-point shooting by the Toronto club in history. 바카라사이트
