1-minute reading: in case you don't have enough time to read everything...
- We came back from the tribal internship and Eimy was having Bible Translation classes.
- Eimy graduated from the Missionary Training!
- We are now in a small apartment very close to the bible institute and our church.
- The safety inside the Tucano people group (where we considered serving) has greatly diminished.
- We are reconsidering other places to serve the Lord as missionaries.
- As the Lord leads us, we will be serving in our churches here and in Bogotá.

Dear friends and family,
We want to tell you with great joy that, thanks to the Lord, Eimy has finished his missionary training and now we are both ready to serve the Lord in a cross-cultural work wherever He leads us.
But before that, we want to tell you how this semester (2024) ended:
Tribal internship
Back to the Institute
After two months, we returned and Eimy continued with the classes at the institute. This time she was learning about Bible Translation.
At church
Eimy graduated!
What's next?
Eimy and I want to serve the Lord cross-culturally within an ethnic group. We have told you about the Tucanos here in Colombia. Unfortunately, this year there has been an increased presence of armed groups in rural areas here in Colombia - where most of the missionaries work - looking for new ways to traffic you-know-what to other countries.
These groups have been seen by the Tucano communities to the point where it has become unsafe for the family currently working among them. For this reason, we are reconsidering other places that the Lord has put on our hearts to serve, with safety in mind.
Brethren, we would appreciate you for praying with us for direction from the Lord.
For now, we will continue to serve here in our local church, visiting Eimy's church in Bogota, and awaiting the Lord's direction as to where to serve Him.
Prayer requests
- For direction from God regarding tribal ministry.

- For the provision of the necessary financial support to be part of Global Partners and to serve the Lord in a cross-cultural way.
