This is a ‘I voted Sticker’ for El Paso County. I made this sticker to sum up El Paso county. Even though El Paso county is much more than that, this is just a symbol of a part of it. From this sticker I would want my audience to feel a sense of pride when they Vote for their county.
This piece is a font poster made to show the beauty of this font called Meshed Display. I wanted to display the beauty of this font and show some situations that this font could be used in. I tried to explain that this is a Rational Serif font and how it’s a rational serif font. I learned a lot about typography, the elements of fonts and I saw many beautiful fonts. I think my audience would have a different appreciation of fonts after looking at my poster.
This is Poster made for the organization called 988 which is Suicide & crisis lifeline where you can talk to a real person. This poster was meant to be hung up on a wall where a lot of people can see it. The motive of this poster was to tell people, whether they are in a state of crisis or not, that help is available. Through this poster I wanted to tell my audience about 988, how they can contact 988, the ways you can contact them, and what they do. I learned a lot about layout and how elements should be placed in a poster to grab attention and easily deliver your point.
This piece was inspired by the Artist by the name of Shepard Fairey. Shepard Fairey is known for his Hope Obama poster. I was inspired by his motto of expressing yourself. I made this piece to show my respect to him. From this piece I want my audience to have an appreciation for Fairey’s artwork and the act of expressing themselves.
One of the Singers that had a style of music close to Psychedelic music from India was Mohummad Rafi, and one of my favorite songs is his Gulabi Aankhen. I made this poster to show the gloomy-ness of his music and his voice. From this poster I learned a lot about how to guide viewers' attention and flow in an art piece. I also experimented with very bright colors and colors that have a pop.
This piece was inspired by the Graphic Design artist by the name of Tim Marrs. This piece was meant to show all the big businesses around us that have gotten so powerful. These businesses are so powerful that they are starting to control us and the world around us. I would want my audience to be aware of what is going on around them and be aware of what these companies are doing.
