AACP Announces Aspiring New Leaders 35 Individuals Join Cohort 21 of the Academic Leadership Fellows Program

AACP's Academic Leadership Fellows Program supports and contributes to the development of leaders in academic pharmacy and higher education, providing an opportunity for Fellows to expand relationships with peers and colleagues in other institutions, as well as within their own college and university.

Fellows will begin the year-long program in September 2024. Consisting of four in-person meetings, the program provides resources in conjunction with the experiential activities designed by the dean mentor at the home school or college. Critical topics addressing how to lead change, conflict management, diversity, equity and inclusion in leadership development, and leadership styles and theory will be covered during the four sessions.

"The Academic Leadership Fellows Program has transformed lives, careers and pharmacy education for more than 20 years," said Lee Vermeulen, B.S.Pharm., M.S., FCCP, FFIP, Executive Vice President and CEO of AACP. "Through an expertly cultivated curriculum of leadership skill development, personal strengths exploration, networking activities, and more, this year's cadre of exceptional talent will undoubtedly help shape the future of academic pharmacy and higher education."

Meet the latest cohort of Fellows from institutions across the U.S.
