City Council & School Board Joint Meeting

The City Council and the Temple City Unified School District Board of Education will hold a joint meeting on Monday, March 17, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. at the Temple City High School Media Center located at 9501 Lemon Avenue, Temple City, CA 91780. Members of the public are welcome to attend the meeting in person.

City Council Meeting & Reorganization

Join us for the next City Council meeting on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at 6:30 pm in the Civic Center Council Chambers, 5938 Kauffman Ave. During this meeting, the Council will appoint a new Mayor and Mayor Pro Tem. A reception will follow at the Historical Society of Temple City Woman’s Club Hall, 9704 Woodruff Ave.

Neighborhood Watch Meeting

Join us for the Area 3 Neighborhood Watch Meeting on Thursday, March 20, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. at the United Methodist Church, 5957 Golden West Ave. This is an opportunity for residents to connect with local law enforcement and our Public Safety team to discuss area-specific crime trends and prevention strategies. Cynthia Vance Named Older American of the Year

Spring Camp Registration

Looking for something fun and exciting to do this spring break? Children ages 5-12 can join the Spring Day Camp and participate in various fun and engaging activities including arts and crafts, games, enrichment projects, sports, and a field trip! This year's program will run from 7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday during the week of March 24th – 28th at Live Oak Park. Registration is $146 for the one-week session. Registration opens on February 10, 2025, at 9:00 a.m.

Temple City Pickleball Tournament

Temple City is excited to host its first ever Pickleball Tournament on Sunday, March 16, 2025 at Live Oak Park from 7 a.m. - 12 p.m. This community event will feature a mixed doubles format, starting with pool play followed by a single elimination championship.

Overnight Parking Enforcement Resumes March 18

Overnight parking enforcement will resume at 2:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 18. The temporary relaxation of enforcement ends at midnight on March 17. To avoid citations, be sure to purchase and properly display a valid overnight parking permit (daily or annual) by Monday, March 17.

Temporary Permits for Fire-Displaced Residents

Residents displaced by fires who have relocated to Temple City may qualify for a Temporary Conditional Permit. To apply, residents must provide proof of residence in a fire-affected area, such as:

  • Current vehicle registration
  • Valid identification
  • Property insurance claim

These permits can be obtained at City Hall during business hours (Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.) and will expire on Monday, August 18, 2025, at 11:59 p.m.

How to Purchase Overnight Parking Permits

To ensure compliance with overnight parking regulations, residents can purchase permits through the following options:

• Daily Permits: Available online CLICK HERE, or at the temporary parking permit kiosk ($4) at the western entrance of City Hall starting at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, March 17.

• Annual or Monthly Permit: Apply online CLICK HERE or in person at City Hall.
