This was my first visit to Slovenia. Uniquely, it is one of the best and most interesting photo trips that I have been on this far. Our photo guide was local and from the outset, it was clear that he really wanted us to experience the beauty of his homeland. He succeeded. The trip included a number of regions of the country, and in each, we also sampled the local cuisine. And to top it off, we had great light which enhanced the photographic experience. The trip was just great.
