Dear Bluejay Family,
I want to take a moment to sincerely thank you for your flexibility and support as we navigated the necessary changes to yesterday’s Bluejay Bash. With the inclement weather forcing us to adjust our plans, your willingness to adapt and show up, no matter the circumstances, is a true testament to the strength of our St. Cecilia community. Events like these are successful not because of perfect plans but because of the incredible people who make them happen.
At St. Cecilia, we are truly Better Together, and we see that core value action time and time again. Whether it’s adjusting to last-minute changes, volunteering your time, or simply showing up with joy and generosity, our community thrives because of you. St. Cecilia is special because of the people who make it a place of faith, support, and togetherness.
Grace & Peace,
Erin B. Henry
Principal

We will begin finalizing payment plans for the 25-26 school year on Monday, April 14th. Please note that once a payment plan is finalized, changes made to the plan will incur a $50 processing fee. Please log into family portal to view your plan information for the upcoming school year to ensure you have selected the correct payment plan for 25-26. Dear Bluejay Family,
Track, tennis and swimming were all in action this week for SCS. On Tuesday, the 5/6th and 7/8th grade track athletes participated in its second meet of the season at Catholic High. Your Bluejays kept up with the bigger schools that night. They finished first in multiple events and are definitely getting better each week. The coaches are evaluating the kids so they will have success in the championship meet to end the year. The most impressive trait that our Bluejay track team shows this year is its commitment to doing what the coaches ask them without question. They are back in action on Wednesday of next week at Teurlings.
The St. Cecilia tennis team played its second set of matches against Academy Sacred Heart and Berchmann Academy on Wednesday in Broussard. The tennis team chalked up 9 wins! Coach Morlas and his staff are impressed by the kids determination to get better and not quit. The kids will be back in action on Thursday afternoon next week against Catholic High.
The SCS swimming team competed in its first meet on Wednesday of last week. This is the breakdown of how our Bluejays did in the pool.
