Blue Lab Beats Publicity Campaign 2024
The duo won a GRAMMY in 2023 for their production on Angelique Kidjo's track 'Fired Up' on her Mother Nature LP, which won Best Global Music Album. With over 85 million streams to date, Blue Lab Beats won the Jazz FM Innovation Award in 2022 and have a few MOBO nominations under their belt. Having tracks featured in the UK rom com Rye Lane (and a cameo performance) was a massive honour.
Live performances with Blue Lab Beats are fully immersive, featuring drums, bass live horns and a guest vocalist (as well as NK-OK on drum machine and Mr DM on keys and guitar of course) they can be seen regularly at various community jams including Steam Down and Orii.
Recent highlights include curating three Jazz sessions at The Elgar Room, headlining JazzReFest at the Royal Festival Hall for Jazz ReFreshed, performing in Brixton with DJ AG, jamming with Robert Glasper and Wyclef, headlining London's Jazz Cafe, and playing Milan's Jazz Festival. 2025 has mostly been about recording, working with artists and also their next album. The single 'North London Pace' was independently released on 7th November 2025, an uptempo joyous instrumental with souring strings. More singles are scheduled to come out in the beginning of 2026 with the album release coming at the end of April 2026.

The Blue Lab Beats journey features production and remix credits with Angelique Kidjo, Rag N Bone Man, Dua Lipa, Kojey Radical (having produced ‘Silk’ on his latest album), Jaz Karis, Joe Hertz, FloFilz, Sampa The Great, Amp Fiddler, and more. Blue Lab Beats played Glastonbury 2023 and have supported the likes of Roy Ayers and Thundercat. Their 2018 debut album ‘XOver’ is brimming with hits, and boasts over 20 million streams. GRAMMY-nominated trumpeter, Theo Croker is on 2019’s EP Vibe Central, and the statement track ‘Hi There’, a soulful instrumental sermon, on Blue Lab’s 2020 album Voyage, have brought them further, well-deserved success.
