Men's Wrestling officially returned on November 1, 2023 before a crowd of 1,517 people in the GVSU Fieldhouse Arena. The Lakers defeated Cornerstone 30-12 in a dual meet in the first meet since 1992.

Women's Wrestling officially returned to Allendale on November 16, 2024. GVSU defeated Northern Michigan 44-6 in the first ever home dual meet in women's wrestling program history.
