Academics
Each academic program (major/minor) at Allegheny belongs to one of six divisions:
- Interdisciplinary Studies
- Languages, Literature, and Culture
- Mathematics and Natural Sciences
- Social and Behavioral Sciences
- Values and Societies
- Visual and Performing Arts
Students declare a major at the end of their sophomore year and also choose a minor from a different division.
Pillars of an Allegheny College Education
2025 Season
2025 marked the 31st season of Allegheny College Women's Lacrosse and the third season in the PAC. The Gators finished in the top 6 in the PAC to qualify for the PAC Tournament as they have each year since entering the PAC! Our season finished in PAC quarterfinals. We had a young team in 2025, only graduating 2 seniors, and gained great experience heading into 2026!

Robertson Athletic Complex
Robertson Athletic Complex is home to outdoor sports at Allegheny College. It includes Frank B. Fuhrer Field (football, men's lacrosse, men's soccer, track and field), The Blue Turf (women's lacrosse, women's soccer, and field hockey), Robert M. Garbark Field (baseball), Robertson Field (softball), and the Tennis Courts at Robertson.
The Robertson complex also houses our team's locker room, equipment room, and an athletic training room.
The Blue Turf
The Blue Turf is home to women's field sports at Allegheny - women's lacrosse, women's soccer, and field hockey. This investment in women's athletics ensures practice time and space for all teams and is an excellent gameday venue. It is also the newest athletic facility addition at Allegheny.
David V. Wise Sport & Fitness Center
The Wise Center is home to all indoor athletic activities at Allegheny. It includes an elevated 210 m indoor track overlooking "The Blue Courts," which is our indoor practice space as needed.
The 1200 seat basketball and volleyball arena is also housed in the Wise Center, along with Mellon Pool, the student-athlete weight room, cardio room, functional training room, racquetball courts, athletic training room, and coach offices.
Meadville, Pennsylvania is in the Great Lakes region of northwest Pennsylvania. It balances a gorgeous natural setting with nearby trails, waterways, and lakes with a vibrant downtown with local shops and restaurants. Erie is the closest larger metropolitan area and is about 30 minutes north of Meadville.

We are working through roster spot offers and are happy to talk with the 2027 class about Admissions early reads and the verbal commitment process.
