Fun Times to Commemorate the Global Week to #Act4SDGs

Shades of Us attended the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) hangout organized by Connected Development (CODE) to commemorate the Global Week to #Act4SDGs. Here are some of the moments that stayed with us.

Not unexpectedly, we took pictures with some of the global goals that are directly linked to our goals as an organization.

We were soon joined by another guest at the event who had the brightest smile and the most infectious personality.

Yes! Before we knew it, we were taking pictures and sharing big smiles.

Again....Wide smiles. Happy faces. Happy people?

Did we mention how infectious her smile was?

They kinda love the camera, don't they?

At this point, they must have been tired. Their eyes betray them.

And...why was this the one picture that wasn't clear?

And then we saw some messages we absolutely loved.

Exactly! Keep keeping at it!

Let us mobilize communities to get vaccinated against COVID-19.

The goof ball caught us and...we went to town.

And then we spotted this beautiful young advocate for the SDGs and asked permission to take her picture.

Same with her.

There were other young advocates for the SDGs at the event.

Did we mention that there was a performance by Francis?

It was a medley of beautiful songs that were uplifting as well as romantic.

Because, in the end, love is why we care about the sustainable development goals and advocate for them.
