Rescheduling or canceling an exam

Overview

Webassessor allows you to reschedule or cancel your exams after they have been scheduled. After canceling or rescheduling, you will receive an email confirming the action and the amount refunded (for cancellations only). Below are some considerations for rescheduling and canceling onsite or online exams.

The following apply when rescheduling:

  • Rescheduling an online exam with 24 hours notice or less will incur a late fee.
  • Rescheduling an onsite exam with 72 hours notice or less will incur a late fee.

The following apply when canceling onsite exams:

  • Canceling with 72 hours notice or less will result in a partial refund.
  • Canceling with more than 72 hours notice will result in a full refund.
  • If you used a voucher, it cannot be reused if you cancel with 72 hour notice or less.

The following apply when canceling online exams:

  • Canceling with 24 hours notice or less will result in a partial refund.
  • Canceling with more than 24 hours notice will result in a full refund.
  • If you used a voucher, it cannot be reused if you cancel with 24 hour notice or less.

Rescheduling or canceling an exam

1. Log in to your Webassessor account.

2. Click the My Assessments tab in the top right corner.

3. Locate the Scheduled Exams section and click the Reschedule/Cancel link to the right of the scheduled assessment you want to modify. You will have the choice to reschedule or cancel on the next screen.

4. Rescheduling or Canceling

To reschedule your exam, click Reschedule and follow the prompts.

  • If you are within the reschedule window for your exam location and type, you will be prompted to pay the reschedule fee. Submit your payment details to complete the reschedule process. An email is sent confirming the payment and rescheduling of your exam.
  • Click Done on the purchase-confirmation page to return to your account home screen.

To cancel your exam, click Cancel Registration and follow the prompts.

  • If you are within the cancellation window for your exam location and type, you will see your total eligible refund amount on the following screen.
  • If you submit the cancellation request, your exam will be cancelled and you will be issued a refund to the original credit card used to complete the transaction. This refund may take 8-10 days to fully process.
  • An email is sent confirming the cancellation of your exam and the amount refunded.
