CALL FOR PROJECTS
The Sportech Challenge is open, without elitism, to any team active between sport and technology. It is an "ideas" competition in the broadest sense, with the specific aim of focusing on the development of solutions with a commercial purpose. Any type of project in fields including, but not limited to, digital, materials, health, etc. will be accepted.
Projects must be concrete, original, useful, practical and easy to implement. These collective initiatives can involve all areas of sport, as long as they make use of technology.
Deadline for submissions is January 15th, 2025.
5 PROJECTS
Through this challenge, we will select five innovative projects that will enter the prototyping phase, allowing them to develop solutions that enhance athletic performance and fan engagement.
Selection criteria include:
Innovation: The originality and creativity of the project. Does it bring something new to the table?
Feasibility: The practicality and viability of the project. Can it be realistically implemented?
Impact: The potential effect on the sports and technology sectors. How significant is the change it proposes?
Scalability: The ability to expand and grow the project. Can it be scaled to a larger audience?
Team: The strength and capability of the project team. Do they have the skills to succeed?
PROTOTYPING
5 ideas will be selected for the prototyping phase, which will run from mid-January 2025 to June 2025.
This stage will enable each finalist to accelerate the development of his or her solution, and provide concrete elements for marketing or partnership.
During this phase, project initiators will receive financial support and be able to take advantage of infrastructures brought by partners during the Sportech Event, which will take place from January 22 to 24, 2025.
They will also be supported by experts of the Inartis Network, who will provide their expertise and skills for the successful development of their projects.
