There's been a real buzz this week as we launch into May with a flurry of activity! Classrooms are purposeful and busy, the sun is shining and children are working to show their 4 Bes in the hope of being the first to get a Bee badge.
The DRET and Josephine Hart Poetry Foundation Competition 2026
Well done to all the pupils who performed one of the poems in assembly last week. Arthur Steer and Marny Clark represented the school at Briar Hill on Tuesday with fabulous performances of the 'The Door' by Miroslav Holub. Arthur has been selected to represent the school at the Nevill Holt festival later this summer!
Mini Marathon
It was amazing to see how many families took the opportunity to go to London to take part in the Mini London Marathon. 10 pupils ran on the day!
Mini Marathon Charles Read
A brilliant day full of effort, smiles, and achievement — well done to everyone involved! Pupils ran 2 miles at the Charles Read playing fields.
Cross Country at the Meres
Wow! As if 2 mini marathon's wasn't enough running this week, 22 pupils took part in the cross country on Thursday. Theo came first and Marny and Iris came 4th.
Bomber Command Trip
A fabulous day out was had by all and i received lovely reports of exemplary behaviour! Well done Buzzards!
