ETHS BOYS LACROSSE FUNDRAISER SPRING SEASON 2026

Committed to Equal Access, Safety, and Excellence

As one of the oldest high school lacrosse programs in Illinois, we’re proud of our history and ambitious about where we’re headed. Our program is growing, and with that growth comes a responsibility: to ensure every athlete can participate without financial barriers and with the essential safety gear to protect them on the field.

At the same time, we’re investing in equipment that reflects our standard of competitiveness and pride. We believe every player deserves to step onto the field confident, prepared, and protected. With your help, we’re building a program that’s inclusive, safe, and elite.

Why Do We Fundraise?

As many of you know, ETHS funds only part of running a successful lacrosse program, covering essentials like balls, nets, and coaching stipends. Player safety equipment, uniforms, and scholarships aren’t included. While we’ve secured some Booster Club support, we still need your help to fully equip our athletes for the upcoming season. Every donation strengthens our program in 3 ways:

  1. Access - Helping ensure that every athlete can participate without financial barriers.
  2. Safety - Providing essential protective equipment that keeps players safe on the field.
  3. Excellence - Investing in high-quality equipment that elevates our entire program.

What Your Support Covers

$750 Fully Equip One Player for the Season Give a new athlete everything they need to step onto the field safely and confidently. FAQs

Why do we need to donate so early? Equipment needs to be purchased well before the season starts so everything arrives by our March 2nd deadline. Early donations ensure athletes have the gear they need on day one.

What exactly is my donation going towards? Essential gear for the program, including: • 60 new helmets - current helmets are safety expired, mismatched and must be replaced • 60 New Freshman/Sophomore and JV uniforms • 15 starter equipment kits for players trying the sport for the first time • Stick stringing kits to keep equipment functional and game-ready

Will there be a Snap!Raise fundraiser in the Spring? If we meet our $15k goal, athletes will not be required to participate in the spring campaign. Hitting this fundraising target lets us avoid additional asks later in the year.

Will I still need to pay team dues for my athlete in the Spring? If we exceed our $15k goal, the plan is to reduce the dues required to play. All additional fundraising money will go directly back to program expenses. ETHS offers fee waivers for families who qualify for financial assistance, and the lacrosse program will never turn a player away due to financial need.
