The darmstadtium is a showcase building for sustainability, resource conservation and intelligent energy use and is ideal as a venue for future-oriented and climate-friendly conferences and congresses.
The futuristic ambience accommodates 2 congress halls, 21 combinable conference rooms and light-flooded foyer areas. Many accommodations are within walking distance, with a total of almost 2,700 hotel rooms available in Darmstadt.
The congress center is excellently connected worldwide and only 25 kilometers from Frankfurt Airport, which also serves as a hub for travel by Deutsche Bahn.

spectrum
With up to 1,677 seats and a ceiling height of approximately 11 meters, the "spectrum" congress hall can be divided into two or three halls if required. Lifting platforms for the seats allow the hall(s) to be set up as a rising auditorium or a horizontal parquet floor. Depending on the hall configuration, the gallery can be seamlessly integrated into the auditorium.
"spectrum" is suitable for a variety of formats and, at 1,300m², has enough space to accommodate a wide range of setups. As a classic plenum or with a center stage, a 360-panorama projection, as an exhibition space or for a cultural event. ferrum
The 650m² "ferrum" hall offers space for up to 383 people in ascending cinema seating with a folding business table. A small foyer area is integrated into the room and is rounded off by the direct connection to two conference levels and a large foyer area on level 3.
With the technology already installed and a permanent control room, the "ferrum" hall is not only suitable for on-site events, but also for streaming events and recording events.

Conference Rooms
Our 21 conference rooms are spread over 3 levels with capacities from 10 to 300 people. They can be used for a wide variety of formats. Seminar, plenary or break-out room, there are many configuration options.
Almost all rooms are equipped with laser full HD projectors and projection screens. Many of the rooms also have permanently installed front and ceiling sound systems. The floor-to-ceiling windows also provide plenty of daylight for a relaxed event.

Foyer Area
Our foyer areas are ideally suited as exhibition and catering areas, arranged on three different levels. The entrance foyer in the atrium is used for registration, exhibition, catering and evening events.
The foyers on level 1.2 surround the large "spectrum" congress hall and are used for large congresses, conferences and exhibitions.
There are further foyer areas on level 3. They are required in combination with the "spectrum" and "ferrum" halls, in conjunction with the conference rooms or when using the entire building.

Partner Locations
Centralstation Darmstadt, Orangerie and other community centers
In addition to the Centralstation, the five community centers in Darmstadt are the ideal complement to the event in the darmstadtium. These diverse locations offer ideal conditions for your event planning.
Just a 10-minute walk from the darmstadtium, the Centralstation is often booked for accompanying evening events. The baroque Orangerie is particularly suitable for festive occasions. All other locations are suitable as event hubs.
A particular highlight is the fiber optic connection that links all our partner locations with the darmstadtium. This means that the darmstadtium network can be used optimally for collaboration between teams in the various hubs within the city. A uniform Wifi connection is available in the darmstadtium and also in the partner location.
Arrival
Darmstadt is located in the middle of Europe, in the heart of the Rhine-Main/Rhine-Neckar metropolitan regions and therefore has excellent transport connections: Darmstadt's main train station is an IC and ICE stop and only 20 minutes away from Frankfurt am Main International Airport. The AirLiner connects darmstadtium directly with Frankfurt Airport. The shuttle bus runs daily every 30 minutes and takes passengers to their destination within half an hour.
Public transport congress tickets, a ride pooling service, e-bikes, call-a-bike stations and rent-a-car services are available for on-site mobility.
The central downtown location of the darmstadtium offers you many opportunities for sightseeing, dining and shopping in the immediate vicinity.

EMASplus is a sustainability management system based on the world's most demanding system for environmental management, the Eco-Management and Audit Scheme - EMAS for short. As a comprehensive sustainability concept, it expands the ecological perspective to include social, ethical and economic issues.
Operational environmental management, future-oriented corporate activity and the perception of social and ethical responsibility are firmly anchored in the structures and processes of darmstadtium. As an EMASplus-certified congress center, our corporate activities are based on standards that go far beyond legal requirements and are continuously being developed. You arrive and take over a functional, fast and secure network. "Germany's fastest congress center" has a redundant 20 gigabit internet connection that is scalable to 100 gigabits.
Providing our customers and their guests with free premium WiFi without restrictions means that the darmstadtium offers the latest WiFi standard Wi-Fi 6 E, without restrictions in terms of bandwidth, data volume or VPN usage.
Wi-Fi 6E offers more channels and frequencies so that there is no staggering of Internet usage - fast Internet even when a large number of end devices are connected to the WLAN.
