For the past 13 years, Jeff Hans has been at the helm of Thomas More women's basketball, one of the most successful squads at any level of the sport. He led the program to two NCAA Division III National Championships and one NAIA National Championship. During his time at Thomas More, he coached two National Players of the Year to go with being named National Coach of the Year three times in 2016, 2019, and 2022.

Hans makes his return to Highland Heights after he served as both an assistant coach (2008-11) and graduate assistant (2001-02) under legendary head coach Nancy Winstel. The Norse posted a 67-23 record in the last three years with one GLVC Tournament Championship and two NCAA Division II National Tournament appearances.

Coach Hans, a 1999 graduate from Wilmington College, was just named to the Northern Kentucky Sports hall of Fame as part of their April 2024 class. To go with his Hall of Fame success as a head coach he has helped his teams go a combined 168-67 in his eight years as a collegiate assistant. Hans is married to his wife Stacee and they have two daughters, Kailynn (19) and Keira (17).

“I am excited to welcome Molly to the Norse Family,” Hans added. “She will bring great energy along with experience gained over eight seasons as a Division I assistant coach. Molly does a good job of building relationships with our student-athletes and high-level recruits and gets them to campus.”

“Gabby is an outstanding addition to our staff,” said Hans. “She brings multiple years of experience at various programs that will help us build NKU women’s basketball to a new level. Gabby has a great knowledge of the game and will connect with our current student-athletes as well as future Norse.”

“It is great to have Brenden back in the Norse family,” Hans said. “Brenden excels in the X’s and O’s and will be instrumental in our player development. He is a hard worker that has a passion for NKU and will help us be successful on the court and in the classroom.”

"Lindsey is a no-brainer addition to our staff," Hans said. "She is a Kentucky kid who proudly wore the Norse jersey, and we are excited to have recruits experience her love for NKU women's basketball."
