Introducing the UO Storytellers Collective

The UO Storytellers Collective is a new club designed for students who are eager to explore the world of nonfiction multimedia storytelling. Whether you're an aspiring filmmaker, a budding journalist, or someone who loves to create compelling narratives, this is the place where your talents can shine and grow.

Meeting times:

Beginning October 22, we'll meet every other Tuesday evening from 6 - 7:30 pm in Allen 318, (during the even term weeks).

About Ed Madison (Advisor)

Before joining the SOJC as a journalism professor, Ed Madison enjoyed a 23 year career in Los Angeles producing multimedia and television projects for Paramount, Disney, CBS, A&E and Discovery. Shortly after graduating from Emerson College in Boston, he was recruited to become a founding producer at CNN. He is co-founder and executive director of the Journalistic Learning Initiative (JLI), a 501(c)3 educational nonprofit organization that uses journalistic strategies to empower student voice and academic success in partnership with the University of Oregon School of Journalism and Communication and College of Education.
