It's been a busy 4 days in Lower School this week! Lots and lots of lovely learning and a special visit for the children in Reception class!
We welcomed lots of families into school for our meet the teacher evenings. Thank you to those who were able to attend, it was lovely to see you all!
In Nursery, the children have been recognising who they are and playing guess who with their baby photos that they brought into school. They are becoming more confident in all areas of the classroom and have been making their houses from junk modelling.
They have been drawing pictures of themselves and developing their gross motor control on their Interactive Whiteboard.
In Reception, the children have been thinking about how they grow and reading the story 'you'll soon grow into them Titch' by Pat Hutchins. One of our Reception class has a brand new baby sister and she came into school with her Mummy for the children to learn all about babies!
Year 1 have been continuing their learning about superheroes and keeping fit and healthy. They have completed their week of 1k a day, running 10 laps of the yard! Da iawn pawb!
They also completed a STEM challenge using buttons and playdough to see who could make the tallest tower for a superhero to climb and having a conversation in Welsh.
